Appeals:
-
A charge of (R500) is levied on lodging an appeal.
-
Depending on the nature of an appeal, it should be backed up by video evidence.
-
Without video evidence it is very likely that the judges decision will be upheld.
-
The appeal will be examined by the Jury President who will consult with the relevant judges, possibly other witnesses and if necessary the head routesetter.
-
If the appeal is upheld, the levied amount will be returned. If the appeal is rejected then the levied amount will be retained.
-
The JP decision will be final.
-
Querying a miscaptured or perceived incorrect score captured will not be regarded as an appeal but simply initiate a cross-check with the hard copy, paper scoresheet.
